Portrait of the Reaper

At first, I want to do a very simple portrait of the six lady. I was going for the CLAMP's ChobitS style character, but as I continue drawing it, I keep adding too much details, and details to the clothes, the background and then I edit the eye which now doesn't look like CLAMP's ChobitS character style. Sometime i scare of my hand just doesn't follow my order...

Do you have the same problem too?
